Day 8: I Can lean on Him - The Lord is My Helper

Behold the Lord is my helper; the Lord is the upholder of my life. (Psalm 54:4)

Praise the Lord for his sustaining, upholding and eternal support. It’s often in the midst of real-life stress, we tend to forget to lean on the real-Life Giver.

The problem with leaning too heavily on other things is that other things will break, and so will you. The reason why is because God never intended for other things to sustain you outside of Him.

Big burdens, daily burdens, seemingly insignificant burdens, God can handle them all when you place them in the palm of His hands.

Prayer:  Father, thank you that we can cast all of our burdens on you because you care for us and promise to sustain us. What a precious fellowship what a joy divine leaning on the everlasting arms.  Lord we love you and we confess that we cannot and will not stand without your undergirding strength to uphold us at all times. We worship and adore you Lord, Amen.

What have I to dread? What have I to fear?…

Leaning on the everlasting arms.

I have blessed peace with my Lord so near.

Leaning on the everlasting arms.
