Day 3. When Walls Crumble
When the people heard the sound of the rams’ horns, they shouted as loud as they could. Suddenly, the walls of Jericho collapsed, and the Israelites charged straight into the town and captured it. (Joshua 6:20 NLT)
If only you could break free from strangling strongholds, but you feel powerless. The walls are too thick and too wide, the habits are too overwhelming and the enemy is too big and too strong.
Through the scriptures, God demonstrates that he has the power to open prison gates and to set captives free.
Remember, It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. (Gal.5:1)
Today, I encourage you to shout God’s victory over your life even before He helps you. Tear down the stronghold of whatever it is holding you captive through praise and prayer.
The same God who pursues us also wants to free us.
Prayer: My deliverer and my Lord, I passionately love you! I want to embrace you, for now you’ve become my Power. (Psalm 18:1 TPT) There is nothing too hard for you Lord. I know that what seems impossible with man is so much possible with you. I believe you and trust you to deliver me and sustain me to remain free from the snare of the fowler.
I am free!
Praise the Lord …I’m free.
No long bound. No more chains holding me.
My soul is resting.
It’s just a blessing.
Praise the Lord!
Hallelujah! I’m Free!
