8.Resurrection Power for Flatlined Conditions

, “I have made you the father of many nations.”[a] This happened because Abraham believed in the God who brings the dead back to life and who creates new things out of nothing. (Romans 4:17) NLT
God has resurrection power that is both alive and active in the times of past and today
– God’s resurrection power raised people for the dead! Scriptures give us at least four instances in both the Old and New Testaments.
– God’s resurrection power gives life to dead and seemingly hopeless circumstances and conditions of every kind with at least a dozen people in the Old Testament alone. I call these flatlined situations.
I am a living witness that God, through His resurrection power, can speak and breathe life into any area of your life that does not have vital signs anymore. He can restore or revive the near dead and completely dead! If God did it for me and all the others we have examples of in the Bible, He can and is willing to do it for you.
End of Rope – My marriage flatlined after being on life support, separation and divorce inevitable. BUT GOD spoke life and I revived …
Death in family – My relationship with aunt flatlined in an instant. The situation looked utterly hopeless, BUT GOD restored…
Done deal - Church shuttering due to stream of bankruptcies, foreclosure, church splits and pastoral resignations. BUT GOD breathed life and revived.
If you are in a marriage and feel alone, like your spouse’s desire is with someone else and their attachments are elsewhere too. God’s got you! Believe now that God can restore intimacy, connection, affection and honor to marriage of life support.
Do you have fertility issues or organs not functioning properly? God’s got that too! If he can raise the dead and revive a decaying corpse, believe that God can restore your body and bring back vitality back to limbs, organs, cells and more.
What about your dreams, calling and ministry? Has it been so long in the making that what God has tried to birth in you and through you has died, has the delay made these wither up like a raisin in the sun? Hold on to hope! God can call into being things that were not and it can take 15-20 years to manifest as Joseph and David taught us. In my case it took God 2 years to revive my marriage and the process is still taking place and it took about 7 years to bring life back to my severed relationship with my aunt. Some of these things take time, and as long as God grants it to you, you have it to use!
Prayer: God of gods and the lord of lords, revealer of mysteries, one who creates new things out of nothing, calls things that be not as if they were and gives life to the dead. We magnify you for the great things you have done.
We stand on your word because we know that its true, living, active and sharper than a two-edged sword. Sweet, doesn’t return void, performs everything it’s supposed to, lamp to our feet. Not only did you raise Jesus, who is the resurrection and the life, but us too. We understand that not just for the last day, but for the right now since the kingdom of God has already arrived. Cleanse us and make us whole. Renew in us a steadfast spirit and restore the joy of our salvation.
We thank you for your resurrection power. For the sting you took out of death and for the victory we have in you. We thank you for those gathered today as a testimony to your life-giving, death-defeating power, making your house one of prayer. We thank you for answered prayer and the wonderful testimonies we have been sharing over the weeks, months and years. You show us every day that you are still healing, rescuing, saving us and those of the prayer list.
We ask that you restore relationships with our family, friends and spouses they think are beyond repair, we ask that you restore health to all those on the call and prayer list needing it, we ask for you to help our unbelief as it relates to your timing in manifesting the calling of our lives, ministries to be birth and dreams for our lives you have allowed us to see, but not yet experience.
