Grateful

by. B. Russell

Yet we don’t see ourselves as capable enough to do anything in our own strength, for our true competence flows from God’s empowering presence.

2 Corinthians 3:5 TPT

I am grateful for God's grace and my testimony is that God makes up the difference.

One area that I have seen this proven is in the workplace.

There have been countless times  I have been given complicated projects, critical problems, training assignments, and short deadlines. It can be easy to get overwhelmed.

When faced with these situations, my prayer is simple.  Lord, help me!

As I work, God gives me ideas, solutions, foresight, patience, and peace.

Even in my mistakes and failures, God works it together for my good.

I love the lyrics from the song "Lover of my Soul" by Jonathan McReynolds.  I can often hear the melody when I am working.

But what I lack

You are full of

And where I'm broken

You are whole

And what I'm doubting

You are sure of

So I'll trust the lover

Lover of my soul

I am thankful that I can give my inadequacies to God. I can trust Him to help me. He converts my weakness into His strength.  I will not take the credit.  All the glory belongs to God!

Yet we don’t see ourselves as capable enough to do anything in our own strength, for our true competence flows from God’s empowering presence.

2 Corinthians 3:5 TPT
